I’m Janet Qin, Senior Project Manager at Sunshine Academy. Because Nanyang, Henan, China is my hometown, I am incredibly excited to lead our Sunshine Academy team to develop our Nanyang Sunshine Academy. After 2 months of initial training and renovation with the strong support of Nanyang Director He, Sunshine Academy’s newest school in Nanyang has officially launched with about 50 students and teachers beginning classes. 

Since our Starting the end of September 2019, Sunshine Academy Project Manager Carina Qiao and myself began training at the Nanyang Center, the whole campus has been making exciting changes every day. In a short period of time, teachers have seen great progress in students like Kyle. In the past Kyle did not respond to teachers’ instructions but would lie on the floor uninterested in class. Now thanks to our teachers using Sunshine Academy’s educational philosophies and Special Education methodologies, Kyle is participating, imitating teachers’ actions and engaging in class. The teachers are overjoyed! We are all proud of Kyle’s progress and grateful for the work of our teachers to make a difference in this one life.
