Sunshine Academy’s Consulting Program uses training, coaching and evaluation to help a Center’s educational program grow in the area of Special Education. This short-term engagement gives Centers concentrated instruction on Special Education methodology and guidance to put the training into practice in their existing educational program. This program is ideal for Centers with a strong education team who are looking for targeted training in Special Education.

Through online training, video sharing and short-term visits our Sunshine Academy team assist Centers to implement methodologies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Explicit Instruction, Accommodations and Adjustments, and Positive Behavior Supports. We also equip teachers to design Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students including assessment and setting of functional goals.

Through this consulting program Sunshine Academy can effectively come alongside any Center that desires to sharpen their ability to reach students with a wide range of special needs with the result of children and young adults further reaching their full potential.
